Full Job Description

We currently have vacancies for Collections Advisors to join the debt recovery team based in the Insurance Lending and Recoveries division in Sheffield.


The role involves contacting clients both on the telephone and by letter to ensure cost-effective debt recovery. Candidates must be able to identify cases suitable for litigation, and also to identify those where the prospects of recovery may not be possible. It is essential to deliver excellent client care skills and remain professional at all times, a confident telephone manner is therefore required. Excellent organisational and negotiation skills are essential for the role as is the ability to prioritise workloads. Candidates should preferably have previous experience within a debt recovery/collections environment.


The hours of work for the role will be 37.5 hours per week. The successful applicant will be required to cover the hours of 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 1.00pm Saturday on a rota basis.
