Full Job Description
Chase and Holland specialise in the recruitment of Finance and HR staff. The 2 founding Directors have over 15 years experience in specialist recruitment and have a team that have also worked within the industry. Our portfolio of clients varies from FTSE 100 organisations to small and medium sized enterprises. We are currently recruiting for a number of businesses that are looking for qualified candidates (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or CIPD) across a number of sectors.
Our client is a market leading medium sized business in their sector with the drive and passion to continue to grow and develop. Established just a handful of years ago our client has gained an enviable market position/reputation and is now looking to take on a Head of Finance to help them to continue the success to date.
Your role will see you play a very important part in the management team both from a strategic and financial reporting point of view. With this in mind you will need to be a very commercial individual with the ability to communicate at all levels.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing a small finance team and all the financial information being provided both internally and externally in the business - this will include a full set of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, costing and statutory accounts.
The right person will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, and CIMA) with both ambition and drive. You will also need to be able to demonstrate an excellent track record and impeccable organisational skills. This job requires someone who is happy to role their sleeves up and get stuck in as well as the ability to think long term.
